Productions come in all shapes and sizes. The impact of a production to a particular location will directly affect the price of that location. The number of people, trucks, equipment, duration, scope etc. will have a bearing on what kind of fees are required. Fifteen years of experience goes a long way in assessing the logistical requirements of a production and allocating a budget appropriately. Some discussion in advance can help address hidden costs such as parking, permitting fees, security, green boarding, lunch room fees, cleaning fees etc. when filming on location. Please contact me directly to discuss in greater detail.

Foreign Productions should be aware of the Harmonized Sales Tax in Ontario or HST a 13% charge on all purchases.

Some productions may be eligible for tax rebates depending on the nature of the production and the location where filming in Ontario.
Lately, local governments have been offering reductions and incentives to shoot in areas such as Hamilton and region as well as Sudbury, Ontario. Please see http://www.fin.gov.on.ca/en/credit/ofttc/ for more information.
